Poetry Competition: Waterfalls

Waterfalls

I have has seen waterfalls

draped on a mountains

fusing droplets

to fall

and fall

breathing into the hand of the river

collapsing into the abyss

here where I float sorrows

I explode softly

forever echoing earth

drumming liquid baritones

as I plunge

and join the crescendo of the soprano’s

here my heart can sing a duet with the waterfall

somersaulting forever

I observe the water   getting on its feet

taking its dripping dress by its hem

running barefeet

running itself a river again

that   dances

back and forth

forth and back

over rocks

xylophone notes into everything air

here where I waterfall once more
