VICTIMS OF
WITCH HUNTS

WALL OF REMEMBRANCE

Between 2000 and 2008 hundreds of men, women and children were accused by their neighbours and communities of either being Witches or of practicing Witchcraft with the intent to cause harm. Some of them were murdered. Others were assualted, their homes and possessions destroyed by vigilante mobs.

NONE OF THESE PEOPLE
WERE WITCHES !

THEY WERE ALL VICTIMS OF PREJUDICE, FEAR AND HATRED.

The 30 day advocacy campaign (from 29 March to 27 April) against religious prejudice and witch hunts will focus on a) highlighting the tragedy of sporadic and ongoing Witch hunts, b) exposing the religious beliefs and cultural prejudice against Witchcraft, and c) asserting the right of Pagan Witches to self-definition, self-determination, religious freedom and safety and security.
